I'll kikck it off.

Here are C#, Perl and straight Bash scripts to remove extraneous spaces and the 25 invisible unicode characters.

If anyone want to create a more permanent repo and improve upon these - please feel free

Fun fact #3: in my previous career, I did some work in Cryptography (encrypting & decrypting written messages/cyphertext)

Since #cryptography is still a pretty big passion of mine, I've hidden lots of "secret messages" throughout all my books.

The LARGEST SECRET of all still remains undiscovered💙📚

Friends! I made a cryptography feed ✨

You can post to it with any key or lock emoji (🔐🔒🔓🔏🗝️🔑) or with #cryptography.

The list of folks who can post to it is bsky.app/profile/fili..., I seeded it with people I follow, but happy to add more!

(Also a good list of folks to follow if you are new!)

Okay, so.

I've got something to share with y'all.

This is some straight up #cryptography nerd shit, but it might be of mild significance someday, so please at least bookmark it for later.

Maybe boost it if you think it's cool? No pressure of course.

The #cryptography behind passkeys. While not a perfect security solution, passkeys eliminate many critical vulnerabilities that have plagued passwords for decades.

“The best way to keep a conversation private in the real world is with face-to-face communication,” EFF’s Joe Mullin told Inc. “To replicate that in the online world, end-to-end encryption is the next best thing.”
