Took a long time to finish this baby, but here she is. Inspired by Patti Smith's People have the Power.
Didn't make it out of the quilt shop. The owner, who quilted it, called dibs. I could not be more pleased a creative of her caliber wanted to own & display it.

Does anyone else become obsessed with organizing while chaos and uncertainty rage? I guess it’s all about controlling one little part of my world. Have begun sorting, pressing, folding and cataloging a rather large fabric stash. Highly recommend. Very calming. #sewing #skyquilt #sewyourstash

Perennial With the Earth
This is my latest quilt top, a riff on the traditional orange peel block, and inspired by the colors of the tundr. Made with recycled shirts, work pants and other fabrics. The title comes from a Walt Whitman poem, America. Approx 7’x5’.

As a maker, I’m proud of my community challenging hate. It’s rather ironic that Dhillon is all bent out of shape over makers creating banned shop lists, while her whole career is fomenting hate over made up voting irregularities. She’s a loser on the losing side of democracy. 🧶 #knitsky #skyquilt
