Big news on England’s BBC Radio4 is that the UKGovt for England is extending free school meals to families on Universal Credit. Scotland, Wales & NI already have more generous support for poorer families. The IFS says lifting the 2ChildCap would be a much more effective way to reduce child poverty.

I wonder if #NigelFarage is assuming #RachelReeves will largely restore #WFP and end #2childcap on #UniversalCredit and #HousingBenefit (HB is now only available for elderly) and find funding for it and so in a year he won't be expected to find so much in savings in order to fund it!
