Pffft Maimonides wrote in The Guide For The Perplexed that human language cannot describe G-d using positive attributes, id est: you cannot say what G-d is, only what G-d is not. To say that G-d is male (or female) limits G-d.
(PS In non-Orthodox, English-speaking Judaism, we say God's gender is "God," eg: "The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. God makes me lie down in green pastures; God leads me beside quiet waters.")
