there’s so much ai Discourse that’s totally invisible to anyone (like me) that uses the ai hater labeler. but you can still sense its presence, like a gigantic cloaked starship passing by in the distance

People who have opted into the “AI Hater” label nodding enthusiastically along to the most Claudey thread I’ve seen on this website lately. Not just the data (which is nonsense at various parts), the literal thread itself was obviously written by Claude

Yeah I admit that it does work and I’m basically an AI hater but for all the reasons that made it exist (fascism, environmental destruction) at scale are harming the world, in some ways I kinda hate that it’s actually useful. Would make a better argument.

Look, I'm an AI hater and skeptic, but they're legible. Like, LLMs, by definition, are able to "communicate" because they generate coherent text. This isn't a trick question.
