The children in the study are children of the Children of the 90s cohort (aka ALSPAC), making this a unique intergenerational study and eventually leading to a data resource on early childhood development for the research community to benefit from.

Pleased to share our new paper, out open-access in Psychological Medicine. In this work we looked at the relationship between childhood trauma, autism/ autistic traits and depression over a 28 year follow-up in the ALSPAC birth cohort.

Academic pressure at 15 was linked to more depressive symptoms and slightly higher odds of self-harm years later, in nearly 5,000 ALSPAC participants.
