Join Rob McConnell as he welcomes Sharka Marie Glet, professional artist, writer, counsellor and spiritual teacher whose work combines art, metaphysics, consciousness and a deeply held belief in guardian angels. Glet earned a Master of Arts degree from Charles University in Prague and a Doctor of Divinity degree from the School of Metaphysics in Missouri. Born in the former Czechoslovakia, she says that unusual spiritual experiences began during childhood, although the Communist environment in which she grew up made discussing such subjects difficult. After immigrating to the United States, Glet began an extensive personal exploration of spirituality. Her studies included Hatha Yoga, metaphysical instruction in Los Angeles and seven years of Transcendental Meditation. She subsequently spent approximately 18 years studying and teaching through the School of Metaphysics, eventually becoming director of one of its Chicago-area branches.
