Just saw some really hopeful news in heart research. Aficamten, a new drug for nonobstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) – a genetic heart condition – showed great results. In a Phase 3 trial (517 adults), 41.9% improved their functional class vs 27.8% on placebo.
