Europe is now flying solo in terms of NATO solidarity. If Putin were to attack a European member state, the US wouldn’t invoke Article 5 while Trump is in office. The sooner we wake up to that terrifying reality the better. We need a wealth tax, not austerity2, to increase military spending. Now.
