Aviation News – The Australian Army officially concluded flying operations for its ARH Tiger helicopter fleet following a final farewell flypast over Mindil Beach in Darwin, Northern Territory, on 24 September 2026. Four ARH Tiger helicopters flew together during the ceremonial demonstration, bringing a formal close to more than two decades of active military service. The aircraft entered Australian service in 2004, serving as a core asset within the 1st Aviation Regiment throughout its operational lifecycle.
