FWIW I strongly expect an economic downturn comparable to or larger than great depression and a LOT of bignames beyond openAI and Oracle going down and stripped down to wall wiring, maybe a little AI research winter but also a colossal democratization and horizontal spread of LLM tech

I don't have " bignames" currently. A few tickets to small local events with Maritime Artists which I prefer to large events. I have a couple of tickets to take in Joe H Henry in April at a local boxing club, a great venue, in the ring is where the performer's are doing their show joehhenry.com

And that's the most charitable take on this being something systemic. What's probably happening is that any community has outspoken zealots and it's easy to cherry-pick them.

Both platforms are fine. Both have positives and negatives (there's too much ego stroking bignames here, for ex.)
