my blooddraw bandage looks so cute with my outfit
feel a lot better having slept. Still a little nauseous but I'm like that all the time and I'm not as dizzy. I'm going to rest the week and try to let this stuff get out of my system. Just another fun night in the E.R. 😑

Good news! The nurse was awesome and no veins were destroyed this time!
Bad news! I have an autoimmune disorder so I got poked in my left arm and as a result my right leg is throbbing. 😅

Sounds stupid but I'm convinced that 90% of this country does not understand how health insurance works (or auto in 1st party states)
I was a Chemo biller for years. If we billed $8 for a blooddraw, Medicaid paid $0.00. Not denied- paid at zero. People are idiots, they don't & WON'T understand

my stepfather had to go for a blooddraw at the hospital across the street from his & my late mother's house outside milwaukee, & he was wearing the portland hat i gave him. the admit clerk said, "oh, are you from? we just were there since our daughter's at reed to study theatre".

I can't praise GetLabs enough! It is so very very nice to be able to schedule a phlebotomist blooddraw for Calvin to be in the hour between when he wakes up and bus pickup. Fasting bloodwork is hard enough, being able to have them come to us is such a blessing!
