Just a few years ago this place would be alive with trilling Redpolls at this time of year. Ideal habitat with young naturally regenerated Scots Pine and Silver Birch.

Yep, the 4 North brothers. Two years earlier another branch of my family suffered a father (my great great grandfather) dying while unsuccessfully trying to rescue his son in Burradon pit, 3 miles away.

También te recomiendo, si te mola el queso, buscar algún sitio donde den de comer Cacio e Pepe, que es pasta con queso pecorino que está increíble también y luego hay unos bocatas que son un burradon de cantidad (pediría 1 para 2 personas vaya) pero están buenísimos y es este sitio
