Chaos tab before and after. The immersive mode is fixed - it still has no exit button, pls use navbar. Cleaned up the glitching, the weird background, the bad sound effects. Lian Li Strimer PCIE cable effect pulsing.
Merged to main. Canvas2D to WebGL brain transplant succeeded. #art

Genuary - Day3: Exactly 42 lines of code.
I cheated, code that renders itself, using 42 lines of canvas2d text 🙃

Stacky the game exercise got a bunch of reactive-to-music background effects, disco AI music that sings about the game itself, and a bunch of other updates! No mobile, firefox dies on Canvas2D performance #gamedev www.susmel.com/stacky/

Small detail in Bitframes—cells are filled by many horizontal & vertical hatch marks. I turn each of these marks into a 2D path to control the roundness of the end caps, rather than being stuck with the very circular arcs of Canvas2D lines.

Did the same pulsating rectangle test in Godot and got the same FPS as my naive JS + Canvas2D approach. So, time to optimize! First, I'll try batch rendering and direct movement instead of physics. If that’s not enough, I’ll take it up a notch with some multi-threaded box moving. Overkill? 😅

this is just something i banged together in the canvas2d api in javascript. i find it pretty friendly, but ymmv. but you could get it a lot faster if you used something faster (or multithreaded).
