I wanted to talk about this Gene Catlow comic, some his experiences of Confurence 8, show how there are alot of interesting comparisons to make! Check alt texts for more! I love seeing how before con vlogs we had comic artists drawing their experiences.

This week's creative who has never truly received the credit that they deserve: actor, impresario, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood cameo, small screen and big director Sam Wanamaker, who helmed The File of the Golden Goose, The Executioner, Catlow, and Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger

I was here last night - Brooks Williams & Aaron Catlow at Blues At The Bay, Eaglescliffe - one of my favourite venues - I was directly under the overhead PA speaker so the sound is a little unbalanced but the playing is superb. youtu.be/rKKhGB3fnhM?...

Gene Catlow was such a wild comic, I remember being enthralled by the "Furry Stare" a lot of arcs seemed to end with when everyone just stared down the antagonist

GOD, Class Menagerie, that sent me back.

That and Gene Catlow were my main reads back in the day.

Last night we watched the chimney swifts come to roost in the chimney of the historic Catlow Theater in Barrington, IL. We estimated over 500 swifts circled and eventually dove into the chimney to spend the night.

Where is the Gene Catlow strip about the butter-toast-cat perpetual motion because I mentally feel like the image of the cat hovering about 80% of the time. Also why isn't this a more well known strip akin to Lucky 20%, Improve Society Somewhat, This Is Fine. It used to be essential internet humor

Looking through an old suitcase recently and found my Star Trek scrap album from 1970-72ish, thought you might find it interesting

Watched the 1971 comedy western "Catlow" starring Yul Brynner, Richard Crenna and Leonard Nimoy. Alas no HD stream or Blu-ray release so relied on an old DVD rip. Despite the technical shortcomings still a fun movie.

Oh my gosh, I remember seeing his stuff back in the dial-up days, yet I was today years old when I learned he was black. Damn, and I thought Gene Catlow was the first big AA fur artist...
