This is also why i have such a disdain when some people say "They are doing everything they can."

The Halloween sequels suffer from centering the perpetual victim Laurie Strode. Hard to get creative when you have the eternal final girl. (A similar problem with the scream franchise and Sidney). F13 and Nightmare were straight slashers built around kills and not character studies or trauma.

We need to change how we teach. Make every school public and private teach social emotional learning. Keep doing PSAs from public health and sports figures and actors. Lots we are doing and lots more we can do.
