I'll take Badgey-esque side character that are themselves a parody of obnoxious digital assistants (think Clippy, in Microsoft Word if you are old enough) over photorealistic depictions of Benedict Cumberbatch on chase rares.
For real some of y'all are being so weird about this card and treating it like it's embarrassing to see in MTG. Like it's the worst thing in the world to have something jovial and odd in a game.

I hate having to dismiss all the Clippy-esque popups attempting to "help" me write and summarize emails. I don't need a computer to tone police me, especially when it can't figure out the correct use of "we're" versus "were" based on context.

I keep trying to feel the terror, but all I experience is deep irritation with the Clippy-esque intrusions. It all feel very try-hard to me, like AI makers are existential threat wannabes. Meanwhile other companies use "terror of AI" as an excuse for layoffs and cuts that they wanted to do anyway.
