The left has made space for anti-vaccine conspiracy theorists for too long. Anti-vax is fundamentally a stance against solidarity and collectivism.

It is one of the most individualistic, nihilistic positions you can take. It’s not anti-pharma. It’s anti-human.

Shifting away from individualism and towards collectivism is the only way out of this.
It’s a little corny but I saw a meme where someone asked if we can do whatever Bill Murray did to end the loop in Groundhog Day and someone else responds that what he does is shift his focus from himself to his fellow human beings and that’s the solution here too
