Really want to see them get freaked out by the Croxted garden centre or the Gail's in Dulwich village.

How does a zebra cross the road? Very, very carefully. To highlight #RoadSafetyWeek we invited a herd of baby zebras to cross the road. It wasn’t easy. These kids need a zebra crossing on Croxted Rd to access their school street.

Children everywhere need safe routes to school

That is South Croxted Road London SE21. There are parallel roads that would allow for a one way system to be created but the residents of those roads are very wealthy and wouldn't be happy.

For sure. But there *is* a protected lane on Rosendale Road (next street over) though that is no help for those starting or ending their trip on Croxted.

Will we see you at the #LoveWestDulwich spring fair? Food, fun, community vibes, and a great chance to #ShopLocal!

There's a DfT count point on Croxted Road near Dalkeith and although it's estimated, it's just over 11k vehicles per day which is firmly cycle track territory and the refuges in that context are really worrying.l

Research indicates that large percentage of London schools are in areas with air pollution levels that exceed WHO guidelines for NO2, PM10, PM2.5

eg data for Croxted Rd in Herne Hill during morning rush hours found NO2 rose by 47% when both state & private schools were open c.f. 16% when only state

Say hi to the children of Rosendale!

A school street has transformed their journey to school. Less traffic, less stress. But they need safe routes to get there. Zebra crossings on #Croxted would help hundreds of kids navigate the 11k daily vehicles.

Glorious day for a quick lunchtime haul - transporting a baby and 120 litres of bark mulch back from Croxted Road Garden Centre (3.6 miles round trip - equivalent to 54% of all car trips).

🚤 Faster than a car.
💸 Cheaper than a car.
🌍 Better than a car.

We can't wait to see the designs for Croxted Rd, West Dulwich.

We have been calling for improvements to this busy transport corridor together with residents and used by so many families on their school run, linking schools, stations and accessing bus stops.

Let's see these plans! 🦓🚸

We are so excited the long awaited zebra crossings should finally be built within TFL's bus priority funding for #Croxted Road 🦓🚸🚶‍♂️

We hope Croxted will be transformed from one of South London's most dangerous roads, to safe route for those traveling sustainably and our wonderful community 🌿 1/2

I'm surprised Herne Hill hasn't yet dug trenches across Croxted Road and Half Moon Lane.

Turney Rd from opposite ends at school run time. The only difference is the presence of a parking warden.

Should the filter be moved back to Croxted Rd? (Turney Sch vehicles exempt)?

The South Circular is currently closed between Alleyn Park and Croxted Road due to emergency Thames Water works. Diversions are in place. We are currently in daily contact with Thames Water chasing up on local repair works.

First heard this on my sister's car radio on South Croxted Road as she drove me to Herne Hill station. Surprised there's not been a movie about that. 'Genius!' I said. 'Replace Take That with a girl band!' 'You can get out here,' said my sister.

Such a great campaign. We tried to book but so popular. Think this worked quite well though;
