There is very very little federal funding for research into Pediatric brain cancer. Almost all of the research that has produced these breakthroughs has come from small family run organizations (of families who lost kids) like chadtough.org, which has raised nearly $45 million in the last decade.

Researchers have made great strides in learning more about DIPG / DMG, the deadliest form of brain cancer. Still, more research is vital in order to get to a cure.
