This is an early snapshot of the runic draconic language I will be implementing into my written world, used by demons, dragons, and mages alike. It will be refined as time goes on.

I've decided on an artist for my book series' covers and the small sketches between chapters.

My friend Syn is a great artist and an even greater friend!

Here is the cover to my first novel, Dead Man's Gambit: The Sunken City!

Will you be ready to transcend the mundane below the waves of the plagued seaside town of Carthage Ridge?

Thank you to my friend Synaethra for making the cover.

A friend of mine decided to do a few sketches of my character, the Commandant. The first picture is honestly giving Herr Major vibes.

Thank you to HitsuuKoneko for these works of art of my character! Link to her profile below.

Doing my best to draw one of the series antagonists. He's this weird mix of inspirations from the aesthetics of Dr Eggman, to the sheer evil of the Major from Hellsing Ultimate. Still working it.

"Herr Kommandant."

This is a rather unsettling character I've been working on, his title, the Commandant, the Alchemist King. He will be one of the series antagonists.

A man who embodies dispassionate evil, & unchecked tyrannical power.

Its not completely finished, but here is a progress update on one of the two sketches I promised on my other socials for reaching 100 followers!

Been a challenge drawing the facial motifs on the armor.

Elden Ring's concept of Midra inspired this work. The ref image is shown to the side.

This is how I want the angels and fallen angels in my series to appear, specifically the head.

Finally spent a day organizing lore, character sheets, the magic system and other topics into their own respective folders.

I think the rest of today will be spent practicing writing from a different perspective, in third person.

I think I have the connecting/unifying concepts of my magic system finally worked out. It came to me in an epiphany today.

I managed to hit my minimum word count of 500 yesterday, and lay out an entire character sheet of a similar length, for one Knight-King Galleus of the Order of the Knight's Penitent.

Hope to make similar progress today.

Found an unfinished sketch of a cyber-gunslinger. I think this was supposed to be my character Immortal Jack, put in a situation sorta like Samurai Jack after his first confrontation with Aku.

Hit double my word count today and did some editing. Today was definitely productive.

Tomorrow I want to focus on expanding upon the otherworld as a concept yet again, in addition to my daily writing goal.

Thankfully through dedication and practice I'm now able to reach a minimum of 500 words that I am confident in for my writing. Practice really does make perfect.

I'm not quite sure what my idea for this goober was, he was gonna be some Australian outlaw type, similar to Ned Kelly, but with a substance abuse problem.

He could be the comedic relief? Not sure yet honestly.

This particular set of drawings were inspired by a borderline fever dream I had, concerning an entity that resembled the King in Yellow/Hastur.

The last picture is the rune cipher for the text in the second image

Honestly I wish I could publish decent snippets of my novelette here. Just to give a general tone/vibe.

Sufficed to say, if you're a fan of Lovecraft of liminal spaces, you'll be pretty immersed into this one.

I managed to rework several plot points on my storyboard and write about 400 words today.

Not as productive as I wanted to be, but maybe its as productive as I needed to be. As many wise men have once said, you cannot rush art.

This is a early unfinished colored sketch of a fantasy OC of mine, an elven king named Avain fighting an eldritch abomination inspired by some of the depictions of Lovecraft's Nyarlathotep.

I had a strange dream last night, about the various runes and ideographs associated with the Otherworld and their gods.

I'll be spending my morning sketching them out so I can post them later for y'all to enjoy.

Managed to finish chapter 7 of the Sunken City today, and cross the 19K word threshold.

My goal for today is to meet a 1500 word minimum, and get back into the swing of things!

That is all for now, a short view of the Ghoul. I will periodically post more lore and bestiary entries on my account every so often.

So if you're interested stay tuned for that!

Today was great for progress, chapter 6 is finished, and I have officially crossed the 16K word threshold.

I think the plan now is to take some time to reread the Shadow over Innsmouth, and continue reading Blood Meridian.
