Step one is to ask why the criteria are not published and integrated in EHR.

AFAIK nobody but inside experts asks this question. (I used to design those EHR products.

Well the idea is the AI notetaker takes notes, then the doctor copies them back into the EHR. So the AI *theoretically* doesnt know who I am. Theoretically.

This was also when they were in transition and didnt have a proper EHR so maybe they use an integrated AI notetaker now.

AdventHealth Makes OpenEvidence Available Across Clinical Roles
AdventHealth is making OpenEvidence available to physicians, nurses, pharmacists, care managers, therapists and other clinical roles across its network, with access integrated into existing electronic health record workflows, the organizations announced on October 1, 2026. The availability begins October 1, 2026. Access Inside Existing EHR Workflows The announcement, datelined Altamonte Springs, Florida, states that AdventHealth is working with OpenEvidence to help care teams find current medical evidence more efficiently. The stated purpose is to reduce the time spent searching for information and create more time for meaningful conversations with patients and families. Access is integrated into clinicians’ existing workflows within the electronic health record system. According to the announcement, the resource makes it easier for clinicians to research medical scenarios using information grounded in peer-reviewed literature and clinical guidelines. In the announcement’s framing, when patients and families have questions about a diagnosis, treatment or next step in care, they deserve a team that can bring together clinical expertise, the latest medical evidence and an understanding of the whole person. Guardrails Around Clinical Judgment “OpenEvidence gives our care teams a practical way to access current clinical evidence as they care for patients,” said Michael Cacciatore, MD, chief clinical officer for AdventHealth...

A lot of people would just do what they can with it, and I probably will. Just that I did spend a decade making custom voice command interfaces integrated in multiple complex apps (lol an EHR was one). Vibecoders wouldn't even understand what I'm so annoyed about because they don't know how to read.

There are a lot of customized systems that people wouldn’t want to give up that are now integrated into workflows, as well as bespoke integrations

Also, transferring an EHR is up there with transferring an ERP in terms of difficulty. Everyone on the leadership team will try to shoot you
