I had to relocate a box turtle to the front yard near the woods this morning. It's not where they were going but the backyard isn't safe with the big dog. She's super sweet unless you are a wild critter so to the front woods they went. Happy trails Boxy!

In August this #EasternBoxTurtle was crossing a road when she was hit by a car. 🚗 The impact severely fractured most of the right side of her shell, exposing the lining of her body cavity. Some pieces of shell were missing entirely.
