I'm feeling the itch to update Adelaide's carrd again...

She got a lore revision from ffxivwrite and I just slapped it all on there at once. Maybe I can organize it to present it more cleanly...

And trim it down too. One day I'll increase my brevity stat! But until then [Character limit reached]

Here are my 30 days of FFXIVWrite 2026! I had a lot of fun writing it. There's one explicit fic in there but the rest are rated T (which is often where I write to be honest). HaurcheWoL and FrayWoL are the main pairings written about in a number of these.

Welcome to my FFXIV Write 2026 thread! Yes, I'm going to attempt to continue this.

These will probably largely be short and unedited/lightly edited, and will probably hop between the WoL and RP version of my guy.

Well, I've used the new link button thing for profiles to put a link to my AO3 there. It's been a very dusty place up until this year, when I not only took on this ambitious FFVI project, but also did ffxivwrite and put about half of my fics for that on my AO3.

Day 12: Warm

My favorite thing about trying ffxivwrite this year was it encouraged me to write some characters I normally wouldn't have. As we start getting into proper fall weather here I'm definitely thinking more about warm treats!

Day 28: On Thin Ice
Nearly destroying the world twice is a lot for a girl to think about.

G|958 words|Eden Raid Spoilers (Shadowbringers). Gaia x Ryne. Coffee Biscuits!
An excerpt from the Final Fantasy XIV fanfiction "A Warm Plate to Ward Off the Chill" by EscaFox. Text: Taptaptap! A knock at the door made her flinch in surprise. "Who is it?" she called out timidly. "Hmph. As if you should have to ask…" A cool, silken voice answered from the other side. Ryne leapt to her feet, quickly checked herself in the mirror, and hurried to the door. A girl about her age stood in the outside hall, dressed in a flowing black coat and skirt that matched her hair. In her pale hands was a small plate with a coffee biscuit atop it. "I…uh…thought you might be hungry?" Gaia, visitor from another world and quickly becoming Ryne's best friend (not that she had many friends from her years in Eulmore), asked with an awkward fidget.

"Long Live the King" by TheLittlestHimbo (NSFW - explicit)
archiveofourown.org/works/943975...

Written for Day 1 of #FFXIVWrite this year, prompt "Key." My brain went to handcuffs, and a Tyrant/WoL/Haurchefant scene occurred.

Chapter 2: The Rematch coming (😎) soon!
Long Live the King TheLittlestHimbo Summary: “One might think him eager to be ruled,” Haurchefant mused with a small, hungry chuckle. He glanced at his companion, holding out the handcuffs. “Would you do the honours, my dearest?” ~ The Tyrant lost a bet against the duo he just fought in the ring: the Warrior of Light and his husband, Haurchefant Greystone. The result? The pair put the King in his place. Notes: Set near the end of the Arcadion questline in Dawntrail. Established relationship explored in many of my other fics and series, spicy and not.

"Hmmm, my prospectometer seems rather fond of you. Let's see, shall we...? Odd garb. Striking presence. Would I be right in assuming that you are one of those... adventurous types?" Seren glanced up and saw an Elezen with bright blue eyes staring down at her, leaning dangerously far over the rafters, a pair of oversized goggles resting atop a bandana over blond hair. He wore an open shirt, long boots, and a coat draped uniquely over a single leg. His clothes were decorated with intricate silver filigree and odd gadgets, suggesting he was far more than just a lord, but a tinkerer by trade too. She didn't think her clothes looked odd; she was wearing a simple black dress under a long coat, paired with a turtleneck sweater and black boots. In fact, his appearance was far more striking than her own. "Yes?" she replied, unsure of what he meant by his 'prospectometer'. He looked gleeful, his eyes widening with excitement. "Ah, I thought as much! My prospectometer seldom lies!"

Snippet 24
You wake up. You find yourself in a room in The Roost. It is just before the break of dawn. You wash your face, and look in the mirror. The dark circles have deepened. The mask will hide them, so do not worry too much. It is an understandable consequence of what you have endured. And you still chose to rise in spite of your exhaustion. That itself deserves a bit of praise, ‘tis only a shame you refuse to listen to mine. You smile, and fasten the mask on. ‘Tis time to face the day and find another chance to become a hero. It will be different, you tell yourself. If you find yourself in another duty quickly today, you will be saved from needing to think about what has happened.
