The FINDHR (Fairness and Intersectional Non-Discrimination in Human Recommendation) project aims at developing anti-discrimination methods, algorithms, and training courses in the field of algorithmic hiring. One of the three main ambitions of the project is to provide new specialised and advanced skills for managing (detecting, mitigating, preventing) discrimination risks in algorithmic hiring and AI-based human recommendations. To this end, FINDHR designed a training course covering theory, case studies, and data analysis.

More about the FINDHR Software Development Guide: The software development guide is a technical document aimed primarily at product managers, software developers, test engineers and legal compliance teams to mitigate discrimination in human recommendation systems. It aims to provide technical guidance on how to design, implement and maintain a recruitment system that does not discriminate against minority groups. The guide aims to provide guidelines on how to effectively integrate bias detection and mitigation techniques in the pipeline of an automatic hiring tool, taking into account that the system should be compliant with European Law and with the requirements imposed by Auditing Companies.
