I'm building a sky shader for my ArtBuddy (codename) app I'm making. Realtime volumetric clouds all art directed. Lots of settings to change and make any mood imaginable. The video recording is a bit laggy because app takes good part of GPU.

i will say, I've had multiple people come to me after installing the wrong steam dependencies cause it's GPU dependant and the default option is some generic thing and it fucks everything up

Please read this article if you have an Nvidia GPU and are using the Nvidia App. There is a feature turned on by default that degrades performance by 10-15%

Please read this article if you have an Nvidia GPU and are using the Nvidia App. There is a feature turned on by default that degrades performance by 10-15%

TLDR there is a "AI"-branded (but possibly not really AI) feature in the new "NVidia App". which appears to significantly reduce GPU performance. An ambiguous statement from NVidia seems to suggest that, due to a bug, this feature is turned on even when it is turned off.
