#Governance,
Possibly the best example of American democracy and governance in the era of Trump.

Enjoy adult governance. The lunatics will soon be in charge of the asylum.

Governance by meme is governance by children. Except children usually have better moral sense than this.
sick stuff.

Targeting a private educational institute because it won’t conform its governance and curriculum to what the state wants is…communist.

Congrats, John Roberts! You ended the three-branch method of governance!
OMB is forcing “the Smithsonian to spend congressionally appropriated funding in a way that’s ‘consistent with the FY 2026 President’s Budget’ in order to receive it. The president’s budget differed widely from what Congress ultimately chose to fund.”

This is good governance.
Young people are always told what not to do. But what should you do?

Did you know that most public libraries have a Nintendo Switch to use? That parks show free movies at night? That there's a map of pickup basketball games?

It’s not governance when it’s small it’s only governance when it’s big

the irony of MAGA is that the actual result of its “governance” will be sharp national decline and humiliation
🚨🚨" It was humiliating to watch an American president act like a happy puppy upon encountering the dictator of a much poorer, much less important state, treating him as a superior". Spot-on by @anneapplebaum.bsky.social of #anchorage debacle.

love stable and predictable governance
Reuters' White House reporter says the 90d diesel export ban is not happening, per a White House official.

The one Politico source saying "whoever talks to him last will get their way" seems 100% correct.

i’d like for some people to grapple with the fact that “the most important election of our lifetime,” if you actually mean it, implies that the governance period following it is also the most important governance period of our lifetime, and adjust their demands/expectations/behaviors accordingly

I've said this before, but only one party caring about governance makes it, in turn, a magnet for public anger about governance
COVID was Dems' fault because they acknowledged it. Any societal disruption could've been avoided if only we pretended.

First time US media and voting public didn't hold the president responsible for a bad thing on his watch. Even as he messed it up on live TV. Nothing I can think of comes close.
Somehow our diseased information environment has produced the net outcome that *the pandemic is considered a political problem for Dems*, not the party that lied about it & got people killed at every juncture. The party that tried, but not perfectly, to save lives, is being forced to apologize.

Lex Luthor: AND THEN I WILL DESTROY THE WORLD!

NYT: Luthor Lays Out Unorthodox Plan For Global Governance
You know what, point to all the superhero writers who have their villains lay out the plan in detail out loud. You were right. They do indeed do that. It turns out the thing you got wrong is the part where the good guys stop them. You didn't write unrealistic villains, you wrote unrealistic heroes.

to not yield after 9 plagues is honestly just bad governance
April 23, 2024 at 3:48 AM
one thing that is important to emphasize at that this is just republican governance at work! this is what happens when you give republicans power in washington!
Final vote. 50-50. VP breaks the tie.

One single GOP Senator could have stopped this abomination. Saved millions of parents from watching their child go hungry. Saved the lives destroyed when Medicaid disappears.

They will all live forever with the horror of this bill.

Starting 2026 with good governance!
I was wondering what Mamdani's first executive order would be, and I'm not disappointed by this.

He has wiped off the books EVERY Eric Adams executive order issued on or after September 26, 2024, the day Adams was indicted on federal bribery charges.
