What is this 1-second pulsed signal on 50.0 MHz? Where does it originate? I'm picking it up here in Vancouver. I'm tuning it as a USB signal. (I don't know how to adjust the waterfall in Gqrx so you can better see the pulses)

Why do people do this? I just want to use gqrx, a small SDR app. Why do people not even think twice about the gigabyte of dependencies they bring in? Can we normalize feature requests of "please reduce your dependency tree"?

there is no reason GQRX (radio receiver software) should have no-password Telnet for remote controlling it but it is kind of cute that it does

My attempts at the SSTV event the last few days. Ran it automatically on the Raspberry pi using a discone antenna. Gpredict to track the ISS, then it automatically sets GQrx to receive and record as a .wav file. Then decode with QSSTV.
Most images were fragments but these 3 were the full ones.
