Groundworkers from NY to NC came to Michigan for GOTV to help score more big wins for the socialist project. We’re all rooting for @donavanmckinney.bsky.social and one of our own, Groundworker @313cgh.bsky.social, to emerge victorious tonight and further build the nationwide socialist pole.

DSA's second largest chapter has voted overwhelmingly to call on AOC to run for President in 2028. Groundworkers in LA worked to draft this resolution, which will allow DSA-LA to prepare a slate of downballot candidates, discuss AOC with labor, and start basebuilding and fundraising across LA.

It's also totally insulting, this constant reference to "millions of low skilled migrants". Care workers are not low skilled, groundworkers are not low skilled, bin workers are not low skilled, kitchen workers are not low skilled, waiting staff are not low skilled & all are essential to our economy.

DC Groundworkers invested years of work to get to this moment: building the chapter, working races as staff and volunteers, and fighting for a vision of socialism in the heart of the American project. Last night's presumptive victories belong to all of them.

They would target different sectors on different days: two days electricians, then plumbers, then bricklayers, groundworkers, pubs etc. Always sectors with no R&D, because that meant no competition from real advisers.

I'm not at Guildford Games fest today, I'm *checks notes* meeting with groundworkers to discuss moving dirt and digging foundations.
It's so interesting switching between such different contexts.
