I hope this inspires someone! And I'd love to see it for real in case someone already built it. hyperformula.handsontable.com came very close, but my idea had its own approach.

There are a bunch of these already - Grist, Hyperformula, Nocodb, and others. The problem isn’t the lack of products, it’s that you’d need to review them, pick & learn one, then work out how to host it with enough availability that you feel confident in using it repeatedly. GSheets is just easier
