Last year I found one of these & ID’ed it as Cylindroiulus punctatus (blunt-tailed snake millipede) but this year, finding another, I’m less sure.
For now sticking with it as initial ID.

An unfamiliar visitor to our garden pond last night. Is it an Emerald Damselfly (Lestes sponsa)? Overall impression rather small, and green. Same individual with different backgrounds. Only managed side views.

Can anyone give some help with an #idrequest? I think this is a Large Headed Resin #bee, taken today on a small Oxeye Daisy, near Southampton. It seems to be in their range, but my #id skills mean I'm struggling to confirm it. #solitarybee #invertebrates #bwars

I took a photo of some Common Cotton-grass (Eriophorum angustifolium) in the Lye Valley a couple of days ago. While processing the photos, I accidentally hit the "zoom" button, and saw these tiny yellow critters. Are they Springtails? If so, what are they doing here?

Are these Adela reaumurella (Green longhorn moth) please? Lots seen along Boundary Brook, Lye Valley in Oxford yesterday. Apparently nectaring on Garlic Mustard (Alliaria petiolata).

I'm hoping this is a Green longhorn (Adela reaumurella) moth, resting on a Cuckoo flower (Cardamine pratensis).
If so, it's another new (or newly noticed) species for our garden this year.
