Yes that's true, except for IO it actually makes a lot of sense in general.
I implemented all native/JVM IO from scratch too to ensure they're fully async. I even wanna support iouring/kqueue for JVM and native eventually to improve efficiency even further.

色々試してみて、I/O と I/O の間に CPU での計算をインジェクトしたりしたものの、単位時間にサブミットできる I/O が減ってしまってわかりやすい結果が得られない。しかも相対的に iouring のほうが pwrite より少ない CPU cycle で I/O できるから、同じ計算をインジェクトしても相対的に iouring でのほうが大きなオーバーヘッドになって、IOPS の低下が激しい。

iouring のいいところ、非同期IOもあるかもしれないが 、SQPOLL オプションをオンにすることで read(2)/write(2) の呼び出しごとにカーネルにコンテキストスイッチするのを防げることかもしれん
