Québec has some other #ImpactCraters that are more obvious than this one.

Manicouagan Reservoir is an annular lake created 214 million years ago by the impact of a #meteorite 5 km in diameter.

There's also the Pingualuit #ImpactCrater on the Ungava Peninsula.

The enigmatic Stac Fada Member of the Torridonian Supergroup. Formed approximately 1 billion years ago by meteorite impact, but lots of unknowns. Where is the crater? Why so much glass and accretionary lapilli, and so little shocked material? #geology #impactcraters #scottishhighlands #outdoors

Earth's past boasts 12 major asteroid impact craters. The largest is South Africa’s Vredefort, while Mexico's Chicxulub, tied to dinosaur extinction, offers clues to our planet's deep geological and evolutionary history. #ImpactCraters #Geology #AsteroidImpacts
