-Drones
-Routers (really most home network gear
-Power inverters (eg for solar and battery back up)
-Advanced robotic devices
Want to make this stuff overseas? You need a license from the Pentagon

The only sound is from the inverters and substations, which are about the same as a home air conditioner (60dB), and usually completely inaudible at the setback limit.
I have never "heard" a solar panel.

Google is ending support for 1st & 2nd generation Nests and completely pulling out of Europe.
Imagine having to replace the thermostats in your home because of a reorg at some big tech meant it was no longer a priority.
Our solar panels are on a ground stand. Shed houses batteries and inverters.
We put this in the backyard and tied the new system into the house line on the pole from the grid.

BTW - we don't have gas. All cooking and hot water is electric. Heating and cooling is via ASHP inverters.

This is a long one guys sorry but should help beginners set up a Raspberry Pi to manage GivEnergy inverters locally

They're limited in power well within the limits of home circuitry.
Inverters automatically switch of at grid limit (europe 253 V nominally 230V)
Grid-tied, so they switch off in milliseconds as soon as they no longer sense grid frequency. Utility workers are safe.
