And so the long afternoon of cooking starts. Lamb leg out of the fridge and rested after being in its marinade all night and ready for a five hours slow cooked kleftiko.

Lamb kleftiko. Lots of recipes online. This is Rick Stein's. I use lamb shoulder instead of leg.

I’m in Shropshire and we are having lamb kleftiko, lemon roast potatoes and a classic Greek salad. Followed by a v Frenchy chocolate mousse cake. 7 for lunch and the sun is hot in the sky. #happy
