and a lot of frustration
barely knowing what i was doing
i think i made someting special (!)

I know I’m rambling, but the point is…if you were greenfielding an OS kernel from scratch, in 2026, with the intent of being forward-looking, it would *not* look like Linux.
Frankly, it’d probably look a lot closer to NT, or even a BSD fork…

Linux isn’t a product owned by a company. It’s open-source code. Anyone can modify it, remove features, fork it, compile their own version. If u tried forcing an age check into the installer, someone could simply delete that code and rebuild it in minutes. There’s no central enforcement pt by design
