Longism?

From what I've read about the man and that time period, and this is going back a bit, I came away with the impression that Huey Long's real "ism" was "Longism".

... reeks of Longism, with the exception that he doesn't want every man a king; he wants to BE the king (just like Huey). Women, POC, LGBTQ are all losing rights. We can't improve public schools because funds are being siphoned into private schools. Books are being banned. It's a shitshow.

Humphrey's Executor was one of the quiet institutional rules that allowed the rule of law to co-exist with the much strengthened New Deal state. Without it, Peronism (or, if you like, Longism) beckons. The US will be worse governed, less prosperous and more corrupt as a result.
Slaughter is an earthquake: SCOTUS has overturned a 90-year-old precedent that facilitated much of modern governance by granting many agencies meaningful independence from the president. Now SCOTUS crushes that independence ... for seemingly every agency except the Federal Reserve.
