This would be very good news. One of the main aims of the MAGA project is to ensure the only acceptable masculinity is toxic masculinity. It's a dominance play aimed at other men, and a serious danger to women.
I really think that MAGA masculinity crashing and burning so badly has created an opening for Dems to model a different kind of manhood. I think James Talarico and Jon Ossoff are doing this quite deliberately.

Just adding that masculinity-as-grievance was the newly dominant vernacular figuration of American masculinity in the 90s, the Anakin character is a product of that milieu. Think Mancow and Rush.
My real hot take about the Anakin fanfiction on Twitter is that it's precisely that. These people are not misreading the text, they're identifying with things that are plainly there, and then doing headcanon around it. It's just evil, blatantly fascist headcanon.
