As far as my Tiki knowledge goes(and its a fairly deep rabbit hole) I do not recall ever seeing Uranium glass used.* Now, yoi can possibly find MODERN U.G. tiki glass, but the usual medium for tiki was/is ceramic (poured slip ceramics) for detail/color/massproduction.

In the end i think there is no much difference regarding beauty pressure in west or asian entertainment industry. You can find in both categories exemption like movies with FL who try to set an example and show her skin and body naturally but in the end that are "indie products" no massproduction
