so what i can do is replace the ublox with a miniPCIe to USB adapter, connect that to a bare USB hub PCB, then connect the ublox to that with a USB to miniPCIe adapter, and have like 3 more USB ports free for an internal lora modem, an SDR, and have an extra port left for the future

and it also has a miniPCIe slot right next to it that is taken up by a ublox GPS module which only uses USB lanes on the slot

Today's upgrade: added 2 MiniPCIe to SATA adapters to decentralize slow storage on 3 RK1 nodes, and installed a third 870 Pro SSD.
And best of all: flat RJ45 cables arrived, and bridge mode is now enabled (waiting on LACP support, which isn't available yet on the Turing Pi 2.5).

Mods: Mac AMD Radeon 5700HD 1GB "eGPU", ePSU, MiniPCIe-PCIe adapter, x1600 chip ripped off the board, T7400 > T7300, Piker Alpha Boot.EFI w/OS X 10.10.5, BT+Wifi, USB HDD, ODD fan now cools OG PSU. <2GB DDR2 to keep the chipset happy.

it doesn't work.. the boot screen is quasi-corrupted with it connected so _something_ happens but the eGPU doesn't appear in lspci

Mais dur de comparer avec un N100. 8 sata, un nvme 4x et miniPCIe 8x avec bifurcation.
Ça reste du zen1, ça a déjà 5 ou 6 ans comme matériel.
Je suis tombée par hasard sur ebay pour une CM.
J'ai trouvé une mesure en idem de 20W et de 36W en full.
Mais dur de comparer avec un N100. 8 sata, un nvme 4x et miniPCIe 8x avec bifurcation.
