No idea how many shots I took, but this is the best I could do. This Black Sexton Beetle (and friends!) just wouldn't sit still. I had to flip him onto his back for a second to get some kind of a shot.

All of the #caddisflies I've found in my moth trap this year. The three on the left are from this morning. I decided to track my mothing bycatches, which adds interest when there aren't enough or too many regular moths.

An unsurprisingly quiet and extremely soggy trap overnight. 3 of 3 in Red-green Carpet, Blastobasis lacticolella and a Green-brindled Crescent. VC61 #TeamMoth
However I also added to my @panspecieslisting.bsky.social with a rather mighty Giant Willow Aphid

Four more #caddis species in the garden in the last few nights: Tinodes waeneri, Molanna angustata, Mystacides longicornis and Oecetis ochracea (probably). #TeamMoth #MothTrapBycatch #Trichoptera

Now up to four #caddis species for the VC 61 (East Yorkshire) garden, the latest being a rather smart Glyphotaelius pellucidus. #TeamMoth #MothTrapBycatch #Trichoptera
