Tldr: I went to the famous Oxford Union Debate to hold Empire accountable. Against 3 older power laden men pimping for colonisation. No biggie. I shat myself. It was terrifying. I won by just agreeing to do it, and telling my story anyway. But the win of 163-86 was a bonus.

My worries about Jacinda becoming leader of the Labour Party so close to the election were dispelled by her first press conference, when she not only addressed them all by their names but was able answer all their questions with confidence, unlike our totally incompetent current PM #npol
Also she knew all their names...Luxon doesn't even recognise his own ministers. What a long way NZ has fallen.
