Refusing to view other animals as commodities & refusing to participate in their systematic violent exploitation are political acts. Not doing so is obsequious compliance with imposed tyranny. It’s bowing down to neoliberal capitalism & the politics of fascism.

Q: Why aren't things getting better?

A: because there are a whole lot of people working hard to prevent things getting better, and in fact, make things worse.

No Cost of Living Crisis for Wealth Extractors...
This is obscene. Why can't other politicians say that?

The 25 richest families are collectively $358.7 billion richer than a year ago, with a combined fortune totaling $2.9 trillion.

Mass homelessness is largely the result of the neoliberal experiment. So is the climate crisis. Maybe time to talk about a Green New Deal?

Today marks 25 years since anarchists and other protesters shut down the summit of the World Trade Organization in Seattle. This was the public debut of what journalists dubbed the “anti-globalization movement”—in fact, a global movement against neoliberal capitalism.

Homelessness wasn't invented in Victoria BC. Nor was addiction, untreated mental health or street disorder. These crises are in cities across North America.

Meta’s business model is peak #NeoliberalCapitalism and a mask off moment for Capitalist propagandists. Oligarchs like Zuckerberg shield themselves from all accountability: he is Meta. His corporate board is a sham. His business partners are basically his serfs.

CEO's operate purely in maximising bang for buck. Change the remit. Change the politics. Change deep societal values. Nature IS wellbeing.

Taxing the uber wealthy only works if the uber wealthy live in your country. The peculiar privileges they’re now awarded include threatening to scarper to less tax-onerous domains at a moment’s notice without any serious penalty to their personal and global financial interests.

Remember: There is nothing natural or inevitable about extreme inequality; it’s the result of an economic system that values wealth and power over human dignity and justice.

It doesn't have to be this way.

Your Black Friday reminder that in 75% of U.S. industries, a smaller number of companies now control more of the business than they did twenty years ago. We must stop the monopolization of America. Shop small if you can, please.

What do these corporations have in common?

Netflix
Ford
Tesla
T-Mobile
Duke Energy
DISH Network
Metlife
Dominion Energy
United States Steel

In recent years, they all paid their execs more than they paid in taxes.

This is what a corporate-rigged system looks like.
