I've never felt so pessimisstic before a medical procedure than I do now.

The gel is an issue too. Those multi-use bottles of ultrasound gel are meant for diagnostic scans where the skin isn't broken, but we still see people using them for percutaneous procedures. If you culture that gel after a week or two, it's not pretty...🧫🦠. Go sterile.

The prednisone did get me through christmas with my two nieces (both under 3) so I am thankful for it’s service but really wish it had managed to stop the attack. Gonna call my doc about a nerveblock tomorrow tho, and hope that can stop the torture.

nerveblock should be wearing off soon but I am steadier on feet than before surgery because my right side isn't on the floor. only acute pain is where they did the open incision. the sling they gave has like, a yoga block built in which helps on that front. if pain spikes I got drugs

So my #Nerveblock appointment is cancelled because the MD is sick again. So since that wore off *last* Sunday, the furniture moving/deep clean i need to do to help muffle the furnace noise is off, and im gonna need more weed to last till i can resechedule.
