let this shitpost be mildly educational
Meet Oklo, the Earth’s Two-billion-year-old only Known Natural Nuclear Reactor
Physicist Francis Perrin sat at a nuclearfuel-processing plant down in the south of France, thinking to himself: “This cannot be possible.” It was 1972.

so was anyone going to tell me nature built its own nuclear fission reactor through sheer chance or was i supposed to find that out in a youtube video comments section myself

For example, a site like Oklo where an unusual geologic arrangement in and around a uranium deposit caused a substantial amount of induced fission within the rock, isn't possible now because of that isotope shift over the last 2 billion years.

The heating sector, millions of gas-heated buildings, remains the hardest to #decarbonize. It will be interesting to see what initiatives are in the sector. The potentials for savings are vast and #districtheating / individual #heatpumps could cover 50/50.

I was wondering whether a nuclear explosion could happen in nature due to geological conditions. Well, that seems unlikely after a short google, but there's evidence that a naturally occurring nuclear reaction did happen in Africa. Read about it here:

As any #RationalThinking 💚 #Green have always known.
Just one more reason for #humanity to stop using #FossilFuels including #Radioactive #NuclearFuel which takes over 100,000 years to become safe.

Russia now has more money to spend on nuclear weapons as #Finland paid 29 million € for #NuclearFuel to #NuclearWeapons manufacturer #Rosatom in July

Last year it was more, 50 million €

Nuclear energy is not affected by sanctions..

I guess will just have to dig a giant hole, stuff all of the radioactive waste in it, then let nature add water.
