Numbat. This marsupial is known for its reddish coat, white stripes and bushy tail. Unlike most marsupials, numbats are active by day, using their long sticky tongues to feast on thousands of termites daily🐜 Numbats are now endangered, remaining one of Australia’s most unique and charming creatures.

Bonita tarde, amigos. 🤗

We've come to southwest #WesternAustralia to search for #numbats, but I'll never complain about finding Australia's other specialist anteating mammal instead 🤩.
