we were just in Islay, did tastings at Ardbeg, Laphroig, and Lagavulin. Ardbeg has the widest selection and the wildest stuff, but Lagavulin ended up being my favorite overall. there's also a great smoke-monster scotch called Octomore made by Bruchladdich, the guys who make Botanist gin
