I have been checking censuses for my main #OnePlaceStudy for this reason too, and found very few. One ‘incapacitated’ man on the 1939 Register. I know a few OPS residents were admitted to asylums and need to collect the details (who, when, and why?). #OnePlaceDisabilities #OnePlaceWednesday

As it’s nearly August (how did that happen?!?), here’s a #OnePlaceWednesday reminder of our next Blogging Prompt. Take a look at your #OnePlaceLandowners – who they were, what they owned, how they used and maintained their property, who their tenants were, and how things changed over time.

Another possibility for finding people in or from our #OnePlaceStudies with disabilities, suggested by the TNA guide I’ve linked to below, is WW1 pension records – perhaps Silver War Badge records too. Might also check newspaper reports of accidents. #OnePlaceDisabilities #OnePlaceWednesday
