The Together Travel lodge at the end of the road in Canisbay, Scotland. The original building is traditional cream stucco wall construction with a peak slate roof. The attached lodgings are steel walled bright pastel colors with metal roofs. The lodge is surrounded by a manicured lawn and faces the Pentland Firth and pier for the ferry that travels to the Orkney Islands. In the background, ominous clouds give way to a sunny sky.

On the pier at John O'Groats, Scotland. An old worn truck tire, to be used as a ferry bumper, leans against a cement seawall. Beside it are a collection of oblong pots covered with netting that are used to catch crabs. Just past the seawall is the Pentland Firth waterway.
