The #JohnO’GroatsBoulder is a £118,000 sculpture by artists Dalziel + Scullion unveiled in 2015. Inspired by huge boulders, some weighing up to 1.5 tons, discovered moving across the seabed of the #PentlandFirth during storms.

A short walk, close to Burnside Cottage, is the track that takes you to Scotlands Haven. A secluded tidal pool that looks out over the Pentland Firth.

After the wild winter storms this last week, it was great to get out on such a glorious day 😊
